During my recent weekend escape to Cara, I was pleasantly surprised by the charm of this idyllic cottage nestled in Daylesford. With its stunning location close to the lake and a delightful café just a short stroll away, it truly felt like a rejuvenating retreat. The cozy atmosphere, complete with two bedrooms and en-suites, provided just the right balance of privacy and comfort for my friend and me, making it ideal after our weeks of bustling city life. I loved starting my mornings with leisurely walks around the lake, soaking in the breathtaking views that reminded me of my beloved Canadian landscapes. The friendly locals we encountered on the trails only added to the experience, enhancing the tranquil vibe of the area. With quick access to hiking tracks and plenty of natural beauty, Cara is a gem for nature lovers like myself, and I can’t wait to return for another peaceful getaway!
